Programme
 

The morning starts with a tour to Doi Tung. The site is a major environmental and socio-economic development project initiated by Her Royal Highness Srinakarindra, the Princess Mother, mother of His Majesty the King of Thailand. This amazing full day tour includes entrance to the Doi Tung Royal Villa. This villa The late Princess Mother chose to build her another home in the north where she could stay for a long rest or to work on her reforestation project on Doi Tung. Included in this tour is a visit to the Wat Phrathat Doi Tung. It is not unlikely that we admire a variety of hill tribes on the way and we can of course make a stop here and there to shoot some pictures of the various minorities living here.  Lunch will be served en route at a local restaurant.  In the afternoon, before arriving back in Chiang Rai, stop at the town of Mae Sai, a small trading town right on The Thailand – Myanmar border and known as the “Northern most point of Thailand. The bazaar is famous for products from southern China, Myanmar and Laos.
